The government accused the museum of violating the law, which prohibits under-18s from consuming material deemed to promote homosexuality, gay rights, or gender change. Simon, a former minister in the right-wing government of Prime Minister Viktor Orban, has faced criticism from human rights campaigners and the European Union.
