Since the start of the Sudanese civil war in 2023, there have been many accusations of war crimes being committed by both the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) on behalf of the Sudanese government and the rebel Rapid Support forces (RSF). A change in the war has come as the RSF has taken over the once SAF controlled region of Darfur. With the RSF’s overtaking of Darfur there has been widespread reports of mass killing committed by the RSF against the civilian population. The war continues to have little end in sight as the civilian death toll continues to rise.
