Just last month, we once again had the Grammys, the music industry’s most recognized and prestigious awards ceremony. The Grammys is a time to collect everyone from the music industry and declare what accomplishments in award form go to which nominee for the category, all while also featuring a few musical performances.
The big four categories are Album of the Year with Bad Bunny’s album “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” winning, Record of the Year with “Luther” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA, Song of the Year with “Wildflower” by Billie Eilish and Finneas winning and finally the Best New Artist being Olivia Dean.
Overall, there are about 95 total categories, so it would take a while to list them all. However there were many winners and it was a fun watch with performances of “Gnarly” from Katseye and “APT.” from Rosé and Bruno Mars. Luckily there are online sources to go view anything listed here in case of wanting to find out more.

What is one thing people wait for during the Superbowl other than the actual football? That’s right, the musical halftime shows. This year, we had Bad Bunny during the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots Superbowl game.
Opening the main show with “Tití Me Preguntó” and closing with “DtMF”, the halftime show brought joy to many families across America, seen in social media posts of people partying and signing along. The show even had a surprise visit from Lady Gaga and a real wedding. Congratulations to the lovely couple.
There were 128.2 million average views putting it roughly in fourth place of most watched halftime shows, with an amazing set portraying the culture of Puerto Rico and other countries within the Americas. The show emphasized an overall message of the only thing stronger than love, is hate. It would’ve been quite interesting to be one of the people within the bushes on the set though.

It’s that time again where the general public judges Disney for turning another one of their classics into a live action. Not everyone judges, but it seems to be the norm of pointing out every single little thing Disney did wrong the moment they produce a live action.
However, this one seems promising, the ever so classic and favorable movie Tangled is getting a live action. Now, when this first reached social media, there were a few different reactions, but everyone’s main question: Who is the cast going to be?
Well, for that look no further. As of currently we have both actors for the main couple with Rapunzel being played by Teagan Croft known for her role as Raven from the HBO Max series “Titans.” And for Flynn Rider, Milo Manheim, known for his role as Zed in Disney’s “Zombies.”
Currently, there is no major backlash on the actors picked for these two, so let’s hope that the rest follow smoothly as well.

All over TikTok, there are many, many trends, but this one is taking over like a storm. Following the trend of nostalgia, TikTok creators and users are reflecting back on the social culture of 2016, from memes and viral challenges, the Pokémon GO craze, the app Musical.ly and so much more.
Current Gen Z and younger Millennials are especially involved in this trend because of the tracks of nostalgia, the fact it was a more carefree time and was a decade ago, a lot of these younger individuals find a sense of relaxation in looking back at the world before everything started going haywire.
People involve themselves in the trend by posting old memories and recreating old challenges and fashion looks. So, if it does come to nostalgia, then it does seem 2026 is the new 2016.
