Maisano’s Little Italian Kitchen has left its mark in North Canton since 2008. Being family owned, this restaurant is sure to provide you with classic, traditional recipes. From their signature gelato to homemade wedding soup, Maisano’s is sure to offer something for everyone. First, I ordered their Side Salad and for the most part, it was good. The salad alone consisted of lettuce, onions, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers. I got it with their Italian dressing and when mixed all together, it wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t my favorite. The dressing had a hint of lemon in it and although I love the flavor of lemon, it wasn’t as good when combined with vegetables. Overall, it wasn’t the best salad I’ve ever had, and I’m not sure that if I were to go back, that I would order this salad again. Next, I ordered their Stromboli since I am a very big Stromboli lover and overall, same as the salad, it wasn’t my favorite. The Stromboli looked perfect and was filled with pepperoni, salami and cheese. It was a good Stromboli, but the dipping marinara sauce on the side was not very good. Overall, I wouldn’t order this again from here either. Finally, I ordered the Margherita pizza and let me just say, I am very glad I ordered the large one because my family and I ate the entire thing in less than 10 minutes. Topped with tomatoes and basil, this olive oil based pizza was one of the best Margherita pizzas I have ever had. It was warm, delicious and the crust was perfectly browned. If I ever want to order a Margherita pizza, Maisano’s would be my first stop. Overall, this pizza was scrumptious and I will definitely be getting it again. Maisano’s Little Italian Kitchen is a good restaurant for salads and Stromboli, but an impeccable restaurant for pizzas. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if people are in need of a good pizza place.

If you’re looking for an authentic homestyle, casual Italian dining experience, Maisano’s Italian Kitchen is a must-visit. Located in a beautifully renovated old home, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with charming details that make it feel cozy. I immediately felt welcomed, as if I was at a family Sunday afternoon dinner. As an Italian, I can be particular about flavors, and Maisano’s did not disappoint. My husband and I started with the antipasto, which consisted of greens, tomatoes, ham, salami, pepperoni, black olives, shredded cheese, all tossed in a zesty Italian vinaigrette. It was fresh, balanced and flavorful. I don’t eat ham, but that’s just a personal preference; the rest was absolutely perfect. For my entree, I chose the shrimp tortellini. The cheese tortellini were al dente, perfectly complemented by sautéed shrimp, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes, all enveloped in a rich Alfredo sauce. I would have liked the shrimp sautéed a little more, but it was true Italian comfort food. And then, there was the limoncello cake, which was light, citrusy, and decadently sweet without being overpowering. Mr. O had the gelato, and as a culinary arts teacher, he declared it excellent, which is a true testament to the quality of their desserts. The service was attentive without being overbearing, making the experience seamless from start to finish. Maisano’s Italian Kitchen manages to strike that rare balance of authentic flavors, inviting charm, and thoughtful service. If you appreciate genuine homestyle Italian cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere, this spot is a true gem.

Maisano’s Little Italian Kitchen is an absolute must for anyone that enjoys anything Italian. I was lucky enough to go this year for Homecoming and when a second opportunity arrived I was ecstatic. One of my favorite things about Maisano’s is the fact its location is a house. It feels like you’re eating a nice dinner at your grandmother’s home, and the meal is definitely made with love. I started off my order with a pepperoni roll appetizer. The roll was the perfect appetizer size, baked nicely and topped with garlic. Filled with plenty of pepperoni, it brought justice to the name. My only critique was that the cheese was only really at one side of the roll and not evenly distributed. For my main course I ordered a pasta bake with meatballs. This was absolutely divine. The perfect amount of cheese and pasta. The meatballs were cooked perfectly with great seasoning to get rid of the cheesy taste. Maisano’s service is also amazing. Our waitress was always on time, helped with anything we needed, while also being amazingly friendly. You could see her around the restaurant providing great service to everyone else. Their whole staff has a great rapport with all their guests. If you’re ever in need of some great Italian food, or just a nice place to go to dinner where you’ll be served well, Maisano’s Little Italian Kitchen is the place to be.
