Educators Rising ended the month by recognizing their latest Vital Viking – Mrs. Amy Myers! Mrs. Myers has been in education for 14 years, with this year marking her 12th year at North Canton. She is a dedicated member of Hoover’s Guidance Department, where she also serves as the chairperson, working to support students in their academic and personal journeys. In addition to her role as a school counselor, she is the Advisor of the newly founded Gardening Club, sharing her passion for growth in plants and people! Students and staff describe Mrs. Myers as having a “sunny personality” that brightens the day of those around her. They admire her kindness, proactive support, and unwavering dedication to helping students succeed. One senior shared, “She has been incredibly kind and helpful throughout my senior year, answering any questions I had.” Another student expressed gratitude, saying, “I wouldn’t be this far with my college classes without her.” Whether she’s assisting with scheduling, college planning, coordinating testing, or just offering a listening ear, Mrs. Myers consistently goes above and beyond for her students. Congratulations, Mrs. Myers!
