The Prime Minister of Greenland, Múte Egede, has called for Greenland to become an independent country. Greenland is currently an autonomous territory of Denmark. The calls for independence come after U.S. President Donald Trump
commented that he would like to make Greenland an American Territory. Greenland’s PM has made it clear that Greenland is not for sale and needs full sovereignty.

Donald Trump Jr’s plane landed in Nuuk, Greenland, where he is making a short private visit, weeks after his father, US President-elect Donald Trump, suggested Washington annex the autonomous Danish territory.
