After I heard about Honeygrow, I immediately wanted to try it. I’ve always liked Asian-fusion restaurants, and since this is a healthier and more allergy-friendly spot, I was excited. When you walk in, there are about four or five kiosks that you can order from [which I love because I would rather not talk to anyone]. The menu is pretty large and you can choose from stir-fry and salads or build your own. I chose to build my own stir-fry. I got egg noodles with roasted chicken,
broccoli, green onions and sesame seeds, with the sesame garlic sauce. Considering I absolutely love anything with noodles, it was so good, I really liked the sauce that I got and I honestly could’ve gotten extra, and I think I will the next time I go. The combination of how good the food is with the atmosphere and allergy-friendly ingredients make this a great spot to eat.

I was pleasantly surprised by Honeygrow’s food. I’ve never been very adventurous with food, so when it came to stir fry, Honeygrow would be my first experience. I got sesame garlic with whole wheat noodles, steak, mushrooms, broccoli, scallions and a sesame garlic sauce. I don’t like a great amount of sauce on my food, so when I saw the option to half it I took the opportunity. That was something I enjoyed about Honeygrow was the option to add and replace things as needed and how allergy-friendly it was. Not only was my food good, but the packaging was on point. Even if I didn’t like the food which, don’t worry I did, I probably would have gotten it again just for the packaging. Overall, it was delicious and I would recommend Honeygrow.

A new addition to our local restaurant scene is Honeygrow, a healthy stir fry and salad alternative located in Belden Village. Honeygrow has options for everyone, there’s stir fry, salads, some fun sweet treats and even a menu for the kiddos. When you walk in, you immediately see the open kitchen and screens to order on. Upon walking in, I was greeted by employees who made sure to offer their help. I got the Kale Chicken Caesar salad and substituted the kale for romaine lettuce along with a fountain drink. My total was roughly $15. At first, I thought this was a bit pricey, but when I got my salad, I was surprised by the size and the price then made sense. My salad was pretty big, but didn’t come with enough dressing so I had to order more which cost extra. Other than the dressing issue though, everything else was perfect. My salad came out quickly even though they were pretty busy. Overall, I would highly recommend giving it a try.
