“Russia has launched its biggest drone attack on Kyiv since its full-scale invasion of Ukraine began last year, the city’s mayor has said,” according to BBC Nov. 25, 2023. Kyiv experienced explosions and explosions before dawn on Saturday, with over 75 Iranian-made Shahed drones fired at the city, all but one shot down. The drones, seen as a cheap alternative to ballistic missiles, are slower than ballistic missiles and have a distinctive wingspan. At least five people were injured, including an 11-year-old child. A kindergarten was damaged, and the attacks have left at least five people injured. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the strikes an act of “wilful terror” and vowed to continue working to unite the world against Russian terror. The attack came on the same day as Ukraine commemorates the 1932-1933 Holodomor famine.
